Mission to SA! Reaching the hearts there...
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." - Mathew 28: 19-20 (NASV)

Dear Friends,
In November 2016, I went on my second mission trip to Cape Town, South Africa! After 4 months I returned to the UK take up a role as Families' Worker with a church in North West London.
Between Jan 2014 - 2015 I also spent a year in South Africa volunteering on various projects with organisations around Cape Town including The Restitution Foundation - undertaking research into the theological basis of restitution in the South African context; The YW - providing a listening space and offering counselling therapy; Bread 4 Life (Homeless Project) - a joint project of the Cape Town Dutch Reformed Church providing a warm meal and the gospel to about 120 homeless people living on the streets of Cape, as well as helping to rehabilitating them back into society. Alongside these I worked with Radio CCFM (Cape Community FM) as a prayer friend and a voice-over for a daily broadcast; Alpha (Western Cape) - providing assistance in database management as well as getting involved in township community projects with the Reformed Church and other charitable organisations. I also had the opportunity to be on the choir at St. George's Cathedral and regularly attended Friday Morning Mass, frequently led by Archbishop Emeritus Fr. Desmond Tutu.
